Samrat Prithviraj review by Nishit Shaw

Samrat Prithviraj has all the elements of a great film. In such a film what the audience misses is basically two things: Elevation scenes & slow mo action.
South films bank on these two things and this is what makes a film enjoyable on the big screen.
While the trailer cut was extremely weak, the film is much better and offers a wholesome experience.

Even the small scenes have been done with a lot of perfection.
Few parts have weak vfx and slowed screenplay, but the dialogues & epic climax compensates it all.
Akshay Kumar comes out of his look and leaves a strong impression with his body language, dialogue delivery and mind games on screen and mainly in the climax. Songs to choreography, the job is well done.
Throughout the film, Hari Har will make your experience larger than life. Supporting cast performance is mind-blowing. Mainly Ashutosh Rana & Sonu Sood. Sanjay Dutt comes our as a disappointment. Would encourage everyone to watch the film. Not a masterpiece but neither a terrible film.
